I was asked to re-decorated this lovely old house to include the pieces of brown furniture which were collected over the years.
The home owner is an avid reader and the 1st item on the list was to accommodate his 100s of books- so I had the walls in one of the rooms which was hardly used panelled and shelved out to make a library space.

The hallway is dark so I used texture in the form of apple green silk grass wall-covering.
The sitting room wooden floors were very dark, so I had these limed – I wanted the scheme to draw the eye to the wonderful garden.
